February 4th is the World Cancer Day. It was established by the Union for International Cancer Control in order to attract world attention to the problem. The motto “We can. I can” call to think about what each of us can do in the fight against the disease and contribute to the campaign against it.
SANDI+ staff decided to support the children who are being treated in the Kharkiv Regional Children’s Clinical Hospital No.1, so for us, February 4 was called the Day of Friendship and Good Mood!
The purpose of our trip was to cheer up the children and add some joy to their hospital everyday life. Together with a team of clowns and a puppet theater, we entertained the children: we were having fun together, bursting soap bubbles, giving each other with positive emotions. These few hours of our communication passed very quickly. Children’s laughter, funny jokes, pleasant surprises, sincere emotions - what else is needed for happiness?!!
How nice it was for us to see the smiles on the faces of the children and their parents! It's very pleasant to make such surprises! Emotions from our Day of Friendship and Good Mood will inspire us for a long time!
